At Cramer Dental, we understand the importance of a straight smile. For those with less severe alignment concerns, the Invisalign system offers a comfortable and effective alternative to traditional braces.
The Invisalign system uses a series of clear, custom-made aligner trays that gradually move your teeth into place. Each tray is worn for a set period before transitioning to the next in the series. The trays apply gentle pressure on the teeth, making Invisalign a comfortable and effective option for mild to moderate orthodontic issues.
Patients love the benefits that Invisalign can bring, including the fact that the aligner trays offer unmatched comfort when compared to traditional metal braces. There are also no food restrictions with Invisalign, whereas traditional braces often come with a list of food restrictions in order to protect the braces from damage. The Invisalign aligner trays are practically invisible when they are in place. This is a great benefit for teenagers and adults alike. Perhaps one of the best benefits is that straighter teeth are possible within less time than what is possible with traditional braces.
The process to get Invisalign is straightforward. First, digital images and impressions of your teeth will be taken and submitted to a lab where your custom aligner trays will be created. Once ready, you will return to our office to pick up your aligners and begin your treatment. Periodic visits will be required for progress checks, but the number of office visits is far fewer compared to traditional braces.
One of the key benefits of the Invisalign aligner tray system is that it is infinitely easier to care for your teeth than it is with traditional braces. Traditional braces can make it somewhat tricky to correctly brush each of your teeth, and it is near impossible to floss between your teeth. Orthodontic patients are at an increased risk for cavities and other minor concerns while their braces are straightening their teeth. Invisalign is much easier to maintain including allowing the tray to be removed while eating. They can also be removed when it is time to brush and floss your teeth. This will allow you to keep your teeth plaque-free, while still getting the benefits of straightening your smile. It is also important that you keep your Invisalign aligner trays clean, by rinsing them out at the end of each day after you've brushed your teeth. “I went to Cramer Dentals today because I have a broken tooth after root canal procedure because I didn’t go back on time for a crown. Dr Cramer and her staff were great! Tiffany worked on me with doctor Cramer and she’s so great with her job! I have nothing but compliments for them! The office was neat and not crowded and I felt relaxed the whole time I was there. Can’t wait to go back for my permanent crown.” - Nijay C.
“Dr. Cramer and staff are very professional, accommodating, especially with new hours. Every patient should count on smiling by the care they provide.” - Larry R.
“Dr. Cramer and staff are super nice. The dentist isn’t my favorite place to go, but the atmosphere is friendly and non-judgmental. The appointments always start timely, I’ve really never had to wait long even when arriving a little earlier than my appointment time. The staff are great at ensuring you understand the information given during your appointment and they are great at answering any questions. I personally love this office and am glad I made the switch to Dr. Cramer.” - Ashley S.
