At Cramer Dental, we offer tooth extraction services when necessary to maintain or improve oral health. We always prioritize preserving natural teeth through preventive, cosmetic, and restorative care, but sometimes extraction is the best option.
Our goal is to save damaged teeth whenever possible, often using dental crowns to restore them. However, when damage or decay is extensive, extraction may be necessary. Other reasons include severe gum disease, orthodontic needs, and wisdom teeth issues.
Performed on teeth that have fully emerged, a simple extraction involves numbing the area, loosening the tooth, and carefully removing it. We take steps to ensure a comfortable process and proper healing afterward.
Reserved for teeth that have not erupted or are broken, surgical extractions involve a small incision and removal of the tooth. Sedation options are available for added comfort.
Regular checkups and cleanings can help reduce the need for extractions. To book an appointment, call us at (484) 370-4010 or use our online booking option.
“I went to Cramer Dentals today because I have a broken tooth after root canal procedure because I didn’t go back on time for a crown. Dr Cramer and her staff were great! Tiffany worked on me with doctor Cramer and she’s so great with her job! I have nothing but compliments for them! The office was neat and not crowded and I felt relaxed the whole time I was there. Can’t wait to go back for my permanent crown.” - Nijay C.
“Dr. Cramer and staff are very professional, accommodating, especially with new hours. Every patient should count on smiling by the care they provide.” - Larry R.
“Dr. Cramer and staff are super nice. The dentist isn’t my favorite place to go, but the atmosphere is friendly and non-judgmental. The appointments always start timely, I’ve really never had to wait long even when arriving a little earlier than my appointment time. The staff are great at ensuring you understand the information given during your appointment and they are great at answering any questions. I personally love this office and am glad I made the switch to Dr. Cramer.” - Ashley S.
We gladly welcome new patients! Feel free to give our office a call to ask about procedures, billing, or any other questions you may have. Our friendly receptionists will be happy to help.
